Itinerary description
There are several daily busses from Costa Adeje and other locations to Santiago Del Teide, the start point. There is some parking close to the start of this trail. The trail starts on Avenida de la Iglesia (Tf-82) and branches off onto a well defined dirt path into the Barranco de Santiago towards Tamaimo. At the first well defined junction with a sign follow the path that contours around the Barranco. This leads to a coll where there are spectacular views into the Barranco Mancha de Los Díaz. At the Degollada Del Roque follow the decending path towards Avenida Coronel Gorrín (Tf-82) in Tamaimo. We stopped here for refreshments that were a bit more expensive than we were expecting. The route continues to Calle la Rosa where the path upwards leasd to an underpass under the motorway and on to Arguayo. There is a pleasant church square in the village at Calle Candelaria. On the route around Roque Arguayo, there are spectacular views into the Barranco de Santiago, Tamaimo, and other parts of the island. The route decends from here to the Barranco Del Valle de Santiago and another motorway underpass. From here follow this route back to Santiago via the quieter Camino Del Cementerio, taking care while crossing the Tf-375. I consider the route moderate mainly based on distance and climb.

The second part of the trail is slightly close the the highway so a little bit noisy but overall it is great. :)
Muy bien marcado y fácil de seguir.
