Itinerary description
Santiago del Tiede to Las Gigantes. I took the 460 bus from Costa Adeje. On my return I took the 477 which is the express. You can take the 473 which takes in all of the coast and takes a lot longer. I recommend sturdy footwear and walking poles. I had to drop down from the peak which was my intended hike due to a closed path. The path was closed during February to August for birds on their nests. The views from the peak was amazing.
