Beautiful route where you can appreciate the incredible beauty of this typical landscape of northern Vietnam.
A very simple route that passes through beautiful rice fields in the first part and through towns in the second part, but where we can continue to appreciate the views of the mythical terraces of SAPA.
Leaving SAPA Square we will go to the town of Lao Chai and later ending in Ta Van.
It is a very simple itinerary that we did without a guide and I don't think it is necessary to hire one for this route unless you want them to explain some curious information to you but nothing more; It is one of the itineraries that people do with a guide so it will not disappoint you.
The route is linear and at the end of the route we took a taxi back.
WARNING:
The route ends in the middle of a road so it is possible that you will not be able to take a taxi as soon as you arrive and you will have to walk a few extra kilometers as happened to us; However, taxis and vans pass by often and they themselves will tell you if they will take you for a few "Dongs".
If you want to ensure the taxi in the last town "Ta Van" there are telephone numbers in the bars where you can call the taxi directly, it will cost you a little more but you will be assured of the return.
ROUTE SUMMARY:
Starting from SAPA Square we will go down to the popular Moana bar (famous for its sculptures to take photos), once there we will continue until km 3.7 by road to end up turning onto a path on the right hand side. somewhat slippery if wet.
We will continue crossing terraces of rice fields and some refreshment points if you want by H'Mong girls who sell you soft drinks and bracelets every so often.
Then we will go out on a stretch of road that we will descend without any loss to a beautiful point with a waterfall and beautiful views.
From there you just have to follow the road to the first town "Lao Chai" and then to "Ta Van", both towns quite prepared for tourists where you can buy a lot of souvenirs, but no less interesting for that reason.
