Beautiful route that starts from the small oblation of Sari and reaches Chopta passing through the Deoriatal lake and the Rhododendron forest with spectacular views of the Himalayas.
To get to Sari from Rishikesh take a bus to Rudraprayag and from there a shared jeep to Ukhimath, they run constantly at Rudraprayag bus stand. In Ukhimath jeeps leave to Sari, you can wait for it to fill up or for 8 euros they take you by yourself. I left Rishikesh at 5:30 in the morning and reached Sari at 1:00 p.m.
The route does not have any difficulty other than the length and the unevenness. It is a route to do during the flowering season, which is usually from March to May. The views are scandalously beautiful. Arriving at Chopta, the route enters the deep forest to reach the road, which is traveled for one kilometer to reach Chopta.
The next day I made the ascent to Chandrasilla from Chopta that you can see here.
Ascent to Chandrasilla
Doing it all in one day is impossible because as the morning progresses clouds get into the mountain
It is important to get up early to do it alone, otherwise it is a very popular route.
