Itinerary description
Easy to follow trail in Altos de Cerro Azul. The trail is actually a dirt track road. This is a gated community, so access is only by invitation from a homeowner there. Driving on the asphalted main road through the community you arrive at the parking area. The road carries on but is a steep downhill dirt track and not recommended to drive down during rainy season. So park the car and walk from here. Its downhill all the way to the river and small camping area, take a right here and follow a small trail to the 2 beautiful swimming holes with waterfalls. Great trail for birdwatching.
