Sendero Cañada Fuente de la Adelfa
This is not the route I initially set out to do this morning. I wanted to do the linear version of this route (light blue markings).
What the town hall has done is to remove altogether the route – Ruta de las Cañadas (green route) and merge it with Fuente de la Cañada route, to make it into a circular walk.
In all honesty it was much nicer this way. The light blue markings have been removed and all the markings for this sendero are now green.
There are a lot of zig-zags on this route. It’s much nicer circular and a good way to spend 2 hours in the Sierra de Mijas.
The gps was a bit erratic, probably due to atmospheric conditions. I didn’t add any photos or waypoints as I was working on my Sierra de Mijas project.
I will probably go and redo this route sometime next week and add photos.
