Itinerary description
Walking/mountain bike route starting from the Lavadera in Juncal, Pinos del Valle, heading out on the gravel track up to the Scouting Camp Site, then when you get to the T Junction past the campsite turn left up the hill and follow the concrete track for a short distance till you pass a water deposit on your left and the road splits. Keep left and follow the track on to rough ground and you will see a white arrow indicating the start of the trail that takes you up through the trees. Keep on this trail following the white arrows and it will eventually lead you back to Pinos - joining up with the trail that takes walkers up to the Ermita above Pinos. From here you can continue up to the Ermita for spectacular views over the valley, or you can follow the extra loop that takes you out along the black water pipe and eventually loops back into the village via the road on the last section or alternatively you can follow the track back down into Pinos and finish your walk/ride back at the Lavadera.

Muy bonita, cómoda, con unas vistas impresionantes hacia el norte, se ven muchos pueblos del Valle: Beznar, Melegís, Restábal, chite, Lecrín, Acequias, Mondújar, Nigüelas, Albuñuelas. Así cómo el pico más meridional de Sierra Nevada, el Pico del Cabllo 3,011 m. de altitud.
This is a great route for mountain bikers too - there is an additional loop to add more distance. Great single track through the trees and some technical areas to test your skills - give it a go - you'll love it 😊🚵

Por cierto, esta ruta se la debemos a Mel y a Phil, pues el tramo de retorno, es nuevo y lo han abierto ellos a pico y pala.

Eso me habían comentado, me encantaría tomarme unas cervecitas un día con ellos, porque hay un potencial y unas cuantas veredas más que estan muy perdidas y sería un encanto reactivarlas.
