Itinerary description
The Rio de la Miel (river of honey) is coming from the Sierra de Luna and runs through a leafy and green valley full of cork oaks, alders, ferns, among other species, forming a characteristic microclimate in the rivers of the Park of the Alcornocales, known as forests in gallery or canutos. This path runs along the banks of the river until you reach the waterfall of La Chorrera. On the way you pass an old roman bridge and th ruins of a water mill.
