Itinerary description
Loop trail at Celaque National Park with first part on Al Cielo trail for the ascent and El Gallo for the return. Only 7 miles but took us 6 hours as it was steep ascending and descending. Entry fee is $5 per person for foreigners. The road to park headquarters is new and easy to drive in regular car. Trails are well marked and signed. We were the only visitors to the park on a Monday in January. The park says the loop is 9.2 km but my GPS showed 11 km. Over 1,100 meters cumulative ascent.

Excelente ver esta ruta, próximamente haré este recorrido. Me ayuda mucha este mapa ya que puedo analizar mi recorrido, quisiera saber si todo el sendero del gallo está bien marcado, si no hay lugar para perderse, si hay puntos de descanso donde hacer fuego para cocinar.
