Santuario de las Flores – Sendero Monte Redondo
I started this walk by the Santuario de Nuestra Senora de las Flores partly because it’s a beautiful building (the old part), and there is plenty parking.
The first section uses the Hemiruta trail. It’s a gradual uphill climb before you get to the intersection where the new Sendero – Monte Redondo (SL-A 031) starts.
It’s a nice circular route with a lot of re-forestation going on and great panoramic views. In places it got confusing and does need a few more signposts.
There are some steepish (slippery) sections going downhill, where l would recommend walking poles for safety. There is also one section with warning signs close to a cliff edge, so stay on the path.
All in all a great hike with amazing views, even out to sea, and also most of the major mountain ranges.
