Puerto Martinez – Pico Grajo o Pico Valdivia
This walk starts on the outskirts of Casarabonela on the MA 5401, (the twist and turning back road that goes to El Burgo.
This walk starts at Puerto Martinez which has plenty of parking.
The information walk is at the start of the woods. The walk is well signposted and the path is in very good condition.
You will get some amazing panoramic views on this linear trail.
There is about 50% shade on this walk mainly on the lower section of this walk. The gradient is not too bad, except for the last 100m.
Towards the summit there is a signpost to turn right. Take this way up as it’s a lot easier than going around the back (there are too many rocks and brambles to navigate to the summit),
Reaching the summit of Valdia also known as Pico Grajo you get some amazing views. A great spot for a picnic.
It took 2 hours to get to the top.

Nice walk on a well defined track. 2 hours to the summit and slightly less back down. Summit has 360 degree views and is a great spot for a picnic.
