Itinerary description
From the bus stop/parking, follow the signs up towards the barrier, passing behind the huge building. Once on top, stay on the right side of the lake and follow the signs "Sentier des bouquetins".
After about one hour walk, turn sharp right and steeply go up the mountain, follow for "Col des Roux". It's a steep but not difficult way up to 2'800m.
From there, go down the other side, towards "Cabane de Prafleuri". It's steep again and a bit more technical, but not really difficult. Follow along the Combe de Prafleuri all the way to the cabane.
At a crossing just over the dam, you can take the longer way along the road or the steeper and narrow natural way according to this gps. However, it will take you below the dam and if you want to go down with the telecabine (which I did), you'll have to walk up a bit again.
If you take the telecabine already on the way up, this walk will take about half an hour less and have about 200m less positive altitude difference.

I did it anti-clockwise, exhausting way up in the stones, one of my hardest trek!
Beautiful scenery though!
Could not follow your path at the back, had to go down and then up :)
