Itinerary description
This track is the route of the E4 European Long Distance Trail from the Ada to Zrenjanin in Serbia based on Map 2 of "Rambling through Serbia at a slow pace" a booklet published by Planinarski Savez Srbije (PSS), the Serbian Mountain Association. While the track is close to the trail described in the booklet, I cannot guarantee it is the exact route or indeed the best, all I can say is that I successfully walked it in September 2017. The track starts with a long road section then joins the Kikinda canal, passing close to the town of Kikinda. It then deviates across farmland to the ruined church at Arača followed by the nature reserve of Slano Kopova and the riverside town of Novi Becej. It continues on the embankment of the DTD canal and tracks through farmland and the Rusana Nature park passing close to the town of Melenci and the Banja Rusana medical facility, before reaching the town of Zrenjanin with its attractive town centre.
You could also cycle this route with suitable bikes.

Church ruins at Arača
These are the ruins of a church built in the 13th and 14th century and burnt down in the 16th century by the Ottomans and never rebuilt. It stands alone among fields.
