Itinerary description
This track is the route of the E4 European Long Distance Trail from Padina to Krnjača in Serbia based on Map 4 of "Rambling through Serbia at a slow pace" a booklet published by Planinarski Savez Srbije (PSS), the Serbian Mountain Association. While the track is close to the trail described in the booklet, I cannot guarantee it is the exact route or indeed the best, all I can say is that I successfully walked it in September 2017. More details of my trip can be found in my blog johnpone4serbia.blogspot.com.
The route crosses farmland to the towns of Vladimirovci and Alibunar before reaching the sandhills of the Deliblatska Pescara where the E4 is briefly waymarked for the first time. The route continues to Pancevo along roads and tracks. After Pancevo there is an (optional) area of floodplain deciduous forest before a walk along an embankment to the bridge across the Danube which takes you into Belgrade.
For my complete trek on the E4 across Europe read my book "Six Pairs of Boots: Spain to Cyprus on the E4 Trail" by John Pucknell available from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com, the Bookdepository.com, lehmanns.de, bookspot.nl, and other good online bookstores.

Option to continue on road
I tried to find a route through the forest by the Danube consistent with the map in "Rambling through Serbia". However I failed to find a suitable route and ended up completing what was close to a circular path. It is up to you if you follow this route or just follow the road until the cycle path signs take you onto an embankment.

Start of diversion
I did not actually walk the section between the "Start of Diversion" and "End of Diversion" waypoints, instead I attempted to follow a very overgrown trail in the valley below which I would not recommend. The alternate route is given here, along the top of the valley.
