Itinerary description
The d'Arga Mountain Range, situated NW of Ponte de Lima, offers some excellent hiking possibilities. Under the hot July sun, the ascent on this beautiful very dry trail seemed more difficult than it really is. The wide landscape, filled with an amazing chaos of granite stones, gives you a sense of protection and belonging. With scarce shades to hide from the heat, water, suncream and a cap were the three most important items indeed. It starts at the Cerquido village.
