Itinerary description

We decided to try our luck on the dirt road up from Cerbi towards the parking lot at Sartari. At the turnoff just before Cerbi, there's a small sign indicating that from each hour until half past, the road is reserved for ascents, whereas descents should be done at the next hour. The road is too narrow for two cars to be going in opposite directions at all but a few choice spots.
The road was too rough for our car to get all the way to Sartari, but we got up 2km and parked in one of the very few spots where there's a little space on the edge of the road. Then walked up to Sartari and on up to the waterfall. From there we went up past the Gola pond, past it and then on up to Calberante pond. Took a break there and then took a quick (10 min) walk up to the Curiós Pass for the view (well worth the 10 min). From Calberante, we then headed east towards the Three Ponds, which were much more beautiful than the previous two.
From there, the loop path back towards the Refuge at Gola Pond was a little difficult to find (despite being marked) at times, but well worth it. Then back on down the same we'd ascended.
There were far fewer people than in many other places we visited and this was one of our favorite hikes over the 10 days we were in the area.
