Itinerary description
First of all, I have to say I do not recommend this trail by foot, it’s too long just to see the same you can see from a car. Apart from the first viewpoint (Miradouro da Boca do Inferno) that you only can visit by foot, the rest of the trail is an asphalt road or a dirty road.
The lake is spectacular and the views to the west of the island are very nice, but again you can do it by car or bike.
