Itinerary description
There are already a ton of tracks for this hike here in Wikiloc and on various travel blogs and tourism sites.... and that is to be expected because it is considered one of the best short hikes in Europe. It does not disappoint. You can easily do the walk in a couple of hours but I recommend taking a bathing suit and stopping at least once along the way for a swim at one of the beaches. There are also cafe's a short detour from the trail at many points - after all - Algarve development runs almost to the edge in many places and in some spots it looks like mansions are actually on top of sink-holes.
The path is level in most places with a few scrambles up and down rocks and a few sets of stairs. The path winds along the coast seeking out the best views of the cliffs, caves and beaches along the way. Follow the link below for more details.
We took advantage of the free parking lot at Praia da Marinha. We left our car there and called an UBER to take us to our starting point at Praia do Vale de Centeanes. Then when we finished the walk we just tumbled into our car and drove a kilometer up the road to a road-side café for our celebratory Sagres.
