Sheep Run Creek Trail

DAY ONE: We went outside and we decided to start on the left side and walk all the way around. We brought Vita but otherwise it was just the four of us. We probably did a lot of accidental tress passing. A couple of times we all stepped in three foot deep water in the creek. One second it was shallow, and the next you were up to your waste at least. We finished out the day after we had gotten home at around six by going night sledding. It was super fun and the boys tandem a couple of times but me and Micah made it farthest down the hill and went all of the way down to the creek! Like literally INSIDE THE CREEK. I was so soaking wet but Micah was completely dry. I established my dominance as the best sled rider slash steerer.
DAY TWO:War games w the fam. At the start, Micah and Ayden were doing a snowball fight in the front yard they were just waiting some time I guess. Me and Ryleigh started to go down the trail because we thought they were just gonna catch up with us we waited a couple minutes for them and they just didn’t come. So I decided to go and get them. When I got up to where they were originally they weren’t there so I went inside and I asked Uncle Jason and my dad if they had come back inside. They told me that they did not. I came back outside and had a sudden revelation that they probably did not go back inside or hiding somewhere in the front yard because they had probably went on the other side of the path the ending to come back and ambush us. I told Ryleigh that and we had to put Vita back inside otherwise she would be a dead giveaway. So me and Ryleigh went back to where we thought that Micah and Ayden went. We started down the trail and we saw Ayden‘s jacket and we thought it was his we thought that they were both behind a giant log by the creek. Then we saw that it wasn’t them we saw That it was just his jacket on a tree and hanging on the tree and then it wasn’t him. We thought it was a beta so we were like no let’s not go down there let’s wait it out and see if they come back for his jacket. So we waited a couple minutes and it turns out Ayden doubled back to get his jacket and at this point we started moving along the Highground on the right side. We were thinking about where they actually were because we knew was beat immediately started looking for Micah and we couldn’t find him so we saw a movie kept on moving moving along and started seeing their jackets again except this time was actually people so we saw them like way way way down in front of us and we were like oh my gosh so we started making snowballs and like holding onto them and talking strategy again. We kept on moving behind trees and like hiding behind trees and stuff like that until we saw them completely and were kind of out in the open. Then we had conflict and we started fighting each other with snowballs and we absolutely got dominated sadly but we went to the fort with all the snowballs they were hiding behind a giant wood pile that was already there Cutwood and stuff. So we lost. And then we were like OK so this is really fun let’s make it a game. But Ryleigh didn’t want to she wanted to go inside and make snow cream. So the three of us to go vote in the majority won. This time though we split up the teams because if it was boys versus girls it would’ve been absolutely dominated by the girls and if it was Staats versus Combs it wouldn’t be fair because the Combs had the home advantage. So we split up the teams made it Micah and Cadence versus Ryleigh and Ayden. And it was super fun and me and make a story building a shelter I’ve been honestly have no idea what Ryleigh and Ayden we’re doing the entire time because like we didn’t see them at all and Ryleigh strategy is normally to like wait and we thought the Ayden was going to like to come over here or in spy on us or something like that but he didn’t so use that opportunity to make a bunch of snowballs and build a literally a fort we’re kind of like a lien two out of wood and logs and we almost fell out on the hill it was a really bad place to put the fort like we had like nowhere else. Eventually Ryleigh and Ayden came up with snowballs and I was like what the heck guys because Micah had went out to go spy on them and I was like oh my gosh they literally formed an alliance are going to come kill me and Micah is probably behind me or some of that but he wasn’t. Ryleigh told me that she came in peace and I told her that they needed to destroy the snowballs. So that I knew that they came in peace. And Ryleigh told me also that she wanted to form an alliance against Micah and then we would absolutely just destroy him. But then Micah came up behind us in kind of to the side and they basically just gave up the whole piece thing and we just started fighting each other with snowballs it was getting really bad so we came up with a rule that you only had two lives which isn’t really fair cause I got hit in the face twice both times which was because like I couldn’t see anything you would like one after the other was not fair at all and then Ryleigh got hit like five times and then she never like went down. So me and Micah technically won but then Micah and Ayden were like fighting each other still and throwing snowballs and then Micah pushed Ayden and he rolled like 12 feet and Ryleigh was yelling at Micah and they were making fun of each other and I tried to have a peaceful conversation w Micah to try to understand why he was frustrated and it was just a disaster at the end he just left and then the rest of us went inside.
