Origin - China, Japan. Used for decorating parks and gardens. Beautiful flowers but it's toxic.
Celtis australis
Widely spread in the Mediterranean countries. Helps for guts problems (anti-hemorroidical). The roots are used for making smoking pipes and the bark is used for yellow dye for silk.
Pistacia lentiscus
Can be found in East and southeast Europe, west Asia, south Africa. Lots of medical uses - anti-snake bites, healthy chewing gums and alcohol.
Julbenardia
It is green all year round, typical for the Mediterranean region, substitute for sugar.

It comes from California. Ornamental plant for landscape purposes, it is grown as a windbreaker in coastal areas.
