Short - Serra dos Mangues, woods & cliff - 6 km

![CDATA[Mangues 03 (Pink) Walk location: Near Serra dos Mangues, to the north of São Martinho do Porto. Car Meeting Point: The Pirâmide restaurant at São Martinho do Porto at 10:15 am. Coming from Alfeizerão the restaurant is on the RHS at the first roundabout as you enter São Martinho do Porto. Latitude: 39°30'19.36"N Longitude: 9° 7'46.53"W Walk Start Point: We drive about 2 km in the direction of Nazaré and Famalicão. We will park on the edge of the main road. Latitude: 39°31'24.82"N Longitude: 9° 6'42.44"W The Walk: This is about 6.5 kms, a circular route. There is a gentle ascent though woods to the village of Serra dos Mangues then open countryside to the cliff where there are fine views (subject to no sea mist). We follow the cliff northwards for about 1 km then descend to the start point. There is some walking on quiet roads. The walk is mostly along sandy and earth tracks; there are some muddy patches so choose suitable footwear. Coffee Stop: No coffee stops en-route. Nearest coffee place is in Famalicão 2 km away.
