Itinerary description
From the roadside a short distance northwards along a high ridge and then turning southwards on the GR249 Gran Senda de Malaga. Finding a way back to the road proved impossible as the Gran Senda passes over steeply sloping rocks and an attempt to divert round these by climbing to a saddle above the path was abortive because of even more steeply sloping ground. Therefore returned to the starting point by the same route.
