Itinerary description
Lots of friendly Formosan Rock Macaques and a great view of Kaohsiung! A well maintained trail.
Do not feed the macaques who will often let you get right to them! They are cute and not dangerous; but they will grab food out of your hand if you're not careful. If they hear the crinkling sound of a plastic bag, they will grab it thinking there is food in it.
If you are lucky you may also see a miniature barking deer!
