Itinerary description
This does not take you to the summit but is a circular route skirting the ledge of Crestellina. Start at the bottom of the road before heading up to the village. Park at the left at a small clearing. Head left for 30 meters and turn sharp right up a concrete track. The first part is quite difficult, steep and rocky in places but well worth it for the views. In 35 to 40 minutes we reach the refugio (refuge point). Then continue the walk along the easy flat pathway to the end and then carry on down a partly concreted path back to the top of the village then down to the start.

Lovely walk. We did it in reverse so a steep descent over the boulders at the end.
Did this walk on warm 30 degree day. Went clockwise to get steep ascent out of the way first, then pleasant walk around valley back to start. Fantastic rock formations and plenty of bird life and flora. Good tree cover in some parts was very welcome.
