Sierra de Gibralmora Circuit, Pizarra
This circular walk starts on the outskirts of Pizarra. Take the new paved path through some gardens, and turning right up a very steep pavement, and joining up with the El Santo Sendero.
Firstly passing the Luna fountain on your right, then further up passing an ancient burial ground, also on your right.
Then to the Torre de la Cruz, which is next to the antennas.
At the next junction (you have the option to go to the statute of El Santo. The views are amazing).
Then carrying on to the Quintana junction where you turn left which brings you out to La Ermita Mirador.
Carry on through some quaint back streets of Pizarra back to the parking area, passing a very popular restaurant – El Limonero, if one needs refreshments.
It is a really good hike with lots to see and lovely panoramic views.
