Itinerary description
Near to El Largo, Almeria province
Moderate
This walk starts on a dirt road but normally in good condition, there is good parking also in the square of nearby village El Largo at N37 20 12.2 W1 46 03.5.
Once off the dirt road the track is largely narrow, with undergrowth, marked at times with stone cairns, then going uphill through a wood and eventually a steep climb to the trig point for lunch, where there are superb views of the coastline from Mazerron to Mojacar.
Later traverse back down a ridge to the dirt road.
