Itinerary description
This is a very nice walk around the Sierra del Centinela. You'll pass through different kind of landscapes, through cork oak, bush land, valleys, olive groves and dehesa. You'll pass de Visigoda Basilica Santa Lucia del Trampal, which offers a great opportunity to have a rest while you admire the 7th century church.

Erg mooie route die vele aspecten van het landschap in Extremadura laat zien. Een extraatje vandaag was de trek van de kraanvogels

Schitterende route, beginnend 'langs het groene huis' over de berg, "op en neer", met prachtige uitzichten, om vervolgens door een zeer aardige man ontvangen te worden bij het kerkje Santa Lucía uit het jaar 700. Daar vandaan langs een relatief makkelijk te belopen geasfalteerde weg weer over de berg terug te wandelen naar dorp Alcuéscar waar je als je rond 13.00uur aan komt nog een heerlijke lunch kunt nemen om vervolgens weer langs het mooie (olijven, rozen, schaapjes, vogel en nog meer)pad terug te wandelen naar finca La Tierra Verde en daar dan gebruik te mogen maken van een heerlijk bronwater zwembadje. Mooie route, prachtig oud kerkje. Wij deden deze route met de e-bike.
