<<< English follows >>> La ruta se inicia en el parking que hay junto a la entrada a la zona de la presa del pantano. Se desciende hasta la propia presa por una carretera de unos dos kilómetros y luego se toma el camino junto al río Riaza, por su izquierda. A los 7.3 kilómetros se llega a la ermita de Casuar. La ermita está en ruinas pero es un buen sito para un picnic. Desde ahí, el camino junto al río no es tan bonito y por eso nosotros decidimos caminar hacia Valdevacas de Montejo. Antes de llegar hay una pequeña zona de picnic donde dimos la vuelta. El camino se hace por debajo del cañón del río Riaza pero hay que ir mirando hacia arriba para observar decenas de buitres volando por encima de nuestras cabezas. El camino es de tierra firme y, en ocasiones, con buena sombra. Un camino sencillo, tan largo como uno quiera. <<< ENGLISH >>> The route starts in the parking lot next to the entrance to the area of the reservoir. It descends to the own dam along a road about two kilometers long, then the path follows next to the river Riaza, on its left. After 7.3 km you reach the hermitage of Casuar. The hermitage is in ruins, but is a good site for a picnic. From there, the road next to the river is not so pretty and so we decided to walk towards Valdevacas de Montejo. Before arriving, there is a small picnic area where we returned. The road goes along the canyon of Riaza River. Don’t forget to look up to to watch dozens of vultures flying above our heads. The road is firm soil and, sometimes, with good shadow. A simple path, as long as you want.
