Itinerary description
This trail follows Šilėnų pažintinis takas from the beginning up to the point where the sign says 'Šilėnai 1km'. At that point you need to turn to the opposite side than the sign suggests, reach the river and follow it going upstream.

The track is good itself, but the last kilometer needs to be adjusted-folow the road when you will be near Saidziai, do not go trough the forest - there are dogs and house, and you need to cross private area. The view is very nice, I think I will do it again.
Yes, the official trail turns left in near Sadziai village but we turned right to extend it slightly and have a little bit more walking. The part that goes along the river was really beautiful and worth the walk. And yes, approaching the end we kind of had to cross the private area so we bypassed it keeping an adequate distance away from the house and just continued the trail.
