Hi Neil,
(we talked a while ago regarding elevation data issues in wikiloc in the forum). I'm following your trip and just realized that your last leg ends up where I live (in Fornells de la selva, next to the church). I'd love to meet you in person if you're still in the area?
Hello Jordi. Thanks for the invitation. Sadly we have finished walking across Spain. Now we are crossing France. I thought Barcelona province was very nice, especially in the north, and the walks were excellent. We have found some very useful wikiloc tracks for our walk. Many thanks for this wonderful resource.
No problem Neil, after my comment I saw that you had already posted tracks going up to the border with France. Thanks a lot for your feedback.
And best of luck with your trip
Regards,
Jordi
Hello Jordi.
Are you still watching this trail?
I have some sad news. Both by mother Margaret and my sister Anne who were walking with me have died.
My mother was getting very old and no longer walked very far so it was not a big surprise. My sister had cancer. It did not damage her health for a few years but once we reached France, she was beginning to have trouble eating. This got worse for about 14 months until she died.
I have had about 17 months without much activity but I plan tr re-start my walk to Istanbul in October this year (2010). I will be near Narbonne, Beziers and Montpellier, often using the CR1 cycle route documented on WikiLoc.
Have you discovered Geohashing? This is an interesting outdoor activity. A good place to look is here:

Also have a look at the wiki.
I am asking because I'd like a wikiloc geohashing icon similar to the geocaching icon? It could be based on the geohashing wiki logo.
Thanks for maintaining this excellent site.
Best wishes.
Neil.
