Itinerary description
This challenge is a fund raiser run by YoungCare:

17 Trekkers walked 240km to the geo-centre of the Simpson Desert and raised over 0.5 million dollars along the way.
I was fortunate to be able to tag along as expedition doctor.
Base camp was 6 hours hard drive West of Birdsville, from there the trekkers walked a circuit out to the desert geo-centre and back.
Walkers were supported by four ground vehicles and one helicopter.
GPS odometer recorded 240km.
Thanks to everyone involved.
