Itinerary description
Start in tegenwijzerzin op de Markt van Sint-Jans-Cappel (F) - Café Rando om de hoek. Een eerste kuitenbijter naar de Mont Noir moet verteerd worden maar de overige vijf bergen zijn gemakkelijker. Middagpicknick in Café Rando in Boeschepe. Veel landwegen en modder en natuurlijk panorama's. Echt aangenaam. Tocht voor Midweekstappen.be, begeleiding Freddy Lesage, Wervik. 101020

Parcours facile, intéressant, qui passe sur deux monts (le mont Noir et le mont des Cats). Curiosité : l'abbaye du mont des Cats produit la nouvelle trappiste (la huitième), qui est en fait brassée à Chimay (...). En boire une ne coupe pas les jambes, à 8 ou 7 km de l'arrivée, car les dénivelés ne sont pas trop rudes. Le parcours suit une série de sentiers et parfois du macadam. Les monts sont plutôt fréquentés, ce n'est donc pas la solitude. A noter aussi, les cultures de houblon, y compris celles voisinant l'église du point de départ, St jans Cappel, dans une sorte de jardin botanique d'agréement qui entoure le monument aux morts, face au musée Marguerite Yourcenar (native du coin).
