Itinerary description
A round trip hiking between Skaftafelljökull and Svinafelljökull, following one track. The main difficulties were the heavy rain, the snow and the lack of visibility in some points. This route is simply amazing!! With your own crampons and ice axes you can hike on a glacier by your own easily, just pay attention to the melting, the different shapes and the state of the ice.
