Itinerary description
Beautiful circular route in Skaftafell, in the southern part of Vatnajökull National Park. The route goes first to the famous Svartifoss waterfall, later goes to Sjónarster hill, where there is a spectacular view. From there we went down to the abandoned Sel farm, with traditional grass roofs. Finally we returned to the parking Skaftafell completing the circular route.
