Itinerary description
SL-A 59 - SL-A 60,Coin (Málaga)
SL-A59 – SL-A60, Coin
This walk is a merging of two Senderos, the SL-A59 El Nacimiento – Mirador de Cerro Alaminos, and SL-A60 Camino de la Fuente – Llanos de Matagallar, making it a sort of circular walk.
Starting at the small off road parking area by the El Nacimiento, and taking the dirt track road that goes to the Ciudad Deportivo de José Burgo Quintana, where you turn right. And then taking the small path adjacent the wide white gravel road to the junction of the old Eldorado film studios, where you turn left.
Follow this path crossing over one main junction, and staying left you eventually arrive to the Cerro Alaminos Mirador.
It was a bit sad looking at my favourite mountain the Sierra de Mijas still smouldering and helicopters still trying to put out the fire that started 3 days ago on the 15th July.
From the Mirador go back to the junction and take the rocky path on your right which is where the SL-A60 ends. Keep going then stay left following the borderline of the forest (there is no shade on this section), and continue until you get back to El Nacimiento.
This walk is suitable for dogs and it had about 70% shade more or less.

Mostly in shade which was good considering it was a hot day. A good country walk which can have a different start if required.
