SLO 07-Ruta Soča // Soča trail

<<< English follows >>> Para hacer esta ruta se puede dejar el coche en el parking del bar que hay junto al nacimiento del río Soča (Izvir Soče). En el mismo bar hay una pequeña oficina de información donde te podrán dar detalles de esta ruta. Es un camino muy conocido pero nosotros no nos encontramos con mucha gente. Lo habitual es descender el camino y retornar en autobús. Puedes bajar hasta Trenta, hasta Soča o incluso llegar hasta Bovec y coger el autobús. Nosotros nos decidimos hacer el trayecto hasta Trenta (precio por persona del autobús: 1,30 euros en julio 2017). El camino es atractivo y bastante verde, prácticamente todo en sombra salvo algún corto tramo que se hace por la carretera. Hay un desvío a la izquierda hacia la garganta de Mlinarica que es interesante. No hay demasiados autobuses (ver foto del horario, julio 2017) así que es mejor ajustar la hora de salida desde Izvir Soče para no tener que esperar luego mucho tiempo al autobús. Al regreso, la parada del autobús en Izvir Soče apenas se ve. Asegúrate de que el conductor sabe que te quieres bajar ahí o te llevará hasta arriba del collado de Vršič. Desde la parada de Izvir Soče todavía tienes otros 1300 metros hasta el parking. Me parece una ruta sencilla y entretenida. Se puede hacer con niños. <<< English >>> To do this route you can leave your car in the parking lot of the bar next to the source of the river Soča (Izvir Soče). In the same bar there is a small information office where you can give details of this route. It is a well-known trail but we did not meet many people. The usual way to do this route is to go down the path and return by bus. You can go down to Trenta, to Soča or even get to Bovec and take the bus. We decided to make the trip to Trenta (bus ticket per person: 1.30 euros in July 2017). The trail is attractive and quite green, practically everything in shade except for some short section that is made along the road. There is a detour to the left towards the Mlinarica gorge which is interesting. There are not too many buses (see photo of the schedule, July 2017) so better if you to set the departure time from Izvir Soče so you do not have to wait the bus for long. Upon return, the bus stop at Izvir Soče is barely visible. Make sure the driver knows you want to get off there or he will take you up to the top of the Vršič pass. From the bus stop at Izvir Soče you still have another 1300 meters to the parking lot. I find it an easy and entertaining route. Can be done with children.
