Itinerary description
Partisan shelters, command´s bunker of partisan unit or observation tower are probably the biggest highlights of a forest trail at Herlica nearby Petrovce in the Slanske mountains. 3.4 kilometer long hiking tour is prepared for visitors in moderate terrain with an elevation of about 160 m.There are 12 standpoints,where you can find information boards devoted to the World War II and partisan resistance, as well as information about the water cycle in forest ecosystems, tree rings of trees,predators living in the forest or forest lifts.This trail goes along the top of the dominant peak Oblík, which begins and ends at state road just outside the village of Petrovce.
