Itinerary description
After failing to do it in the opposite direction, we did this reverse version trying to find the right path.
At ~2.8km a few fallen down trees make the path disappear, pretty difficult to pass over this point. Need to climb fallen trees and walk into overgrown bushes. It can be dangerous so be very careful.
From Alltrails:
"Soi Klum Yang Rd. - Big Buddha l ซอยกลุ่มยาง - พระใหญ่
This is another trail to the big Buddha but it starts from Soi Klum Yang Road. You will be experiencing the forest and various types of plants along the way as well as the views in the area. The trail can be rocky and overgrown but you will be hiking on a much quieter trail to the Big Buddha.
Getting there: You can park your motorcycle on the side of the road and start walking from the starting point. Please park carefully as it is a dirt road and there is no official parking spot.
Weather: It is not recommended to visit during the rainy season from July to October because the trail can get washed out by heavy rain as well as overgrown plants and falling branches from trees."
