Itinerary description
Beautiful part of La Alpujarra - we're started out intending to walk the Puente Palo circular which is approx 15 km but, in the end we did a linear walk to Capiliera. Passing through the Budhist retreat center (the road appears to be private with signs warning 'no entry') we climbed to La Atalaya. Another 1 km on you come to a junction - 4 km to Puente Palo - 6 km to Capiliera. At this point we decided to turn right as 2 members went back to get the car!
