Itinerary description
Out and back from Sotres to El Cable via Aliva. This passes by the Rio Duje which marks the border between the central and eastern massifs. Very well marked (following the trail to Espinama for much of the route) and no exposures (such as cliffs).
Refreshments available in the Aliva refugio and the restaurant at El Cable (with fountains at the Vega de Sotres).
Trail starts about 500m back down the road to Tieve at the hairpin turns where a dirt road leads into the valley.
Beautiful views and passes other routes that branch off the main trail (whether marked or not).
