Itinerary description
From Espot village car park by Bomberos following the GR11 to Estany de Sant Maurici (reservoir) and the Refugio Ernest Mallafre. Lovely walk, it’s all uphill but not gruelling, parts within forest and parts with open views of the mountains. Ranks highly for me. Water source at the reservoir is potable.
