Itinerary description
Estany Sant Maurici / Refugio Ernest Mallafre following GR11 to Refugio d’Amitges and it’s reservoir. A walk full of charm, generally ascending always but with respite now and then by the lakes which are stunning. Detour to see waterfalls included in this trail but can be skipped by keeping to GR11. Last hour is hard stone and works the legs well. Views at top from Refugio balcony terrace worth the effort.
