Itinerary description
Hiking in Portugal, Serra da Estrela. Path starts from Hotel Casa das Penhas Douradas going north via the springs of the Mondego river. You can stop and see the "sumos" or where the river disappears into the ground. Path takes you to the heights of the serra before going down to the lake at Rossim valley. From here a short walk back to the hotel
