Itinerary description
A round trip from the small town of St Privat to the summit of the emblematic Puigsacalm. This is certainly more challenging that the traditional route from Barcons and takes in the latter part of the 'Kilometre Vertical' route which is a steep ascent to Puigsacalm.
Enjoy the spectacular waterfall in Spring (particularly following heavy rainfall) as you climb the 'escales' or stairs to it's origin. After that you have spectacular views of the valley and the ascent to Puigsacalm up through the enchanting beechwood forest. The views from the top are well worth the effort!!
