From the car park on the approach road to St-Thomas-les-Bains, we go up a path into a forest.
At a path junction we go to the left.
At a path crossing we go straight ahead.
On reaching a sharp bend in a road, we go to the left, down the road.
Further down the road, we go to the right, along a track, with a canal on our right.
At a hydroelectricity installation, we follow the path round to the right.
The path crosses a hillside, then the path descends into a ravine.
We cross a stream.
We climb a steep slope in a forest, with pools of hot water on our left.
We probably see several naked bathers here.
At the top of the slope is a natural hot spring in the hillside. Water gushes out of this spring at a temperature of about sixty degrees centigrade.
We go to the right, along a well-used path. The path descends to cross a stream; then the path climbs to a road.
We go to the left, along the road.
Further along the road, we go to the left, up a track.
At a track junction, with the beautiful church of Prats Balaguer on our right, we go to the right.
We enter the village, with its fine clock tower.
From the bottom of the village, we go down a lane on the left. We soon follow a path which is going downhill.
At a path crossing (where we were earlier), we go to the left.
We follow our outward route back to the starting point.

Du parking sur la route d'accès à St-Thomas-les-Bains, nous montons un sentier dans une forêt.
A une bifurcation, nous prenons à gauche.
Au croisement de sentiers, nous allons tout droit.
En arrivant à un virage serré, nous prenons à gauche et descendons une route.
Plus loin sur la route, nous prenons à droite, le long d'une piste, avec un canal sur notre droite.
Au niveau d'une installation hydroélectrique, nous suivons le sentier qui tourne à droite.
Le sentier traverse une colline, puis le sentier descend dans un ravin.
Nous traversons un ruisseau.
Nous montons une pente raide dans une forêt, avec des bassins d'eau chaude sur notre gauche.
Nous verrons probablement plusieurs baigneurs nus ici.
En haut de la pente se trouve une source chaude naturelle dans le flanc de la colline. L'eau jaillit de cette source à une température d'environ soixante degrés centigrades.
Nous nous dirigeons vers la droite, le long d'un sentier bien fréquenté. Le sentier descend pour traverser un ruisseau, puis le sentier monte jusqu'à une route.
Nous allons à gauche, le long de la route.
Plus loin sur la route, nous prenons à gauche, sur une piste.
À un croisement de pistes, avec la belle église de Prats Balaguer sur notre droite, nous prenons à droite.
Nous entrons dans le village, avec sa belle tour de l'horloge.
Du bas du village, nous descendons un chemin à gauche. Nous suivons bientôt un sentier qui descend.
A un croisement de sentiers (où nous étions plus tôt), nous prenons à gauche.
Nous suivons notre itinéraire d'aller pour revenir au point de départ.
