Itinerary description
Easy hike, accessible by public transport from Maspalomas (via S.Bartolomé or Vecindario). Starting on the barren hills above S. Lucia, to the upper valley of Guyadeque, the caldera de los Marteles (hmm bit disappointing), then a surprisingly nice descent to the very green area of Valsequillo. I stopped at Tenteniguada (few cafés, restaurants and supermarket here), but could as well have continued a bit to the town. Frequent buses take you back to Telde, with connexions to anywhere on the island.
