Itinerary description

It is a part of probably the most famous trail in the UAE - Stairway to haven. This part is used to prepare for the full loop or by intermediate hikers as this part is well marked, has a lot of manmade steps and there are even benches and tables to takes breaks. A part of the hike lays on beautiful flat cliff ledges. Depending on fitness level of your team it takes about 4 hours to reach the final destination - Woh Village. There is an amazing view of Wadi Litibah and Wadi Ghalilah Dam from the top. Expect 2-2.5 hours to go down.

It is 13.3 km hike (it seems like GPS had an issue and shows 17 km with a lot of zigzagging).

The track consists of two main parts:

1) Wadi Litibah
From start to P-04. This part is well marked and does not require description actually. A GPS track here should be enough.

2) The Woh Village Ascend
It has a lot of zig-zagging and sometimes steep. You will pass farms and flat cliff ledges. There are a lot of manmade steps and several benches to take breaks.
After you reached Woh village you will have an amazing view of the Plateau, the stairway part, and wadi Galilah.

Must-have gear:
1) High-cut hiking shoes
2) 3-4 liters of water, some electrolytes, enough food
3) Sun protective clothing (many parts of the track do not have shade at all)
4) Head lump (you might finish after sunset)

Recommended gear:
1) Hiking poles (useful while going down)

Sedans can go till Wadi Ghalilah dam and park at a proper parking at 25.980979, 56.145422. After that you have to walk to the starting point or drive 4x4 that you can park here 25.984311, 56.167752

It is a long ascent without alpine climbing. Much easier than the left bank
