Itinerary description

Boxing Day hike of the northern 4-km section of a 6-km trail along west shore of the lake. Theres a big parking lot at the north end. A broad track in the north section follows the old railway grade. Track becomes more scenic in the south section where the track narrows to a hilly foot-path through a tall mature forest. There is a museum in the old hydro-electric dam site. A general trail map and some descriptions in the attached photos.

January 2016: construction on dam at south end apparently restricts crossing over to east side trail.
