Itinerary description
Park your car in the neighborhood of Stresa railway station and take the bus or train to Belgirate.
Than start to hike from the lago Maggiore up in to the woods. This very nice hike on paved and unpaved paths had some beautiful views at lago Maggiore. And also a lot of shade.
When you are back in Stresa, there are many spots where you can have an ice cream.
Alternative is that you start in Belgirate and hike to Stresa and go back bij train or bus.
