Itinerary description
This trail combines good scenery (lake, terraced paddy fields, valley, river) with paths through village areas in North Vietnam where traditional activities can be viewed. Buffalo could be seen in many places. The only difficulty was in climbing a steep muddy area, plus a couple of places where stepping over 2cm deep water flows was necessary, easy enough using stepping stones and holding onto bamboo. Check the weather in case the mud and water flows are heavier!
